Rita Herzfeld is a New Jersey artist who is anchored in the metropolitan area. Born in New York City, she received her BA from Rutgers University. Her art studies have included the Art Student’s Leave in NYC, the School of Visual Arts and City College of New York. 

Herzfeld’s work has been featured in more than ten solo exhibitions and in numerous group shows in both gallery and corporate spaces. Her paintings explore a mysterious journey of discovery. The abstract images are uniquely her own and her paintings have been selected for important museum collections including the Zimmerli Art Museum and the Hunterdon Museum of Art. IN addition, her seductive, intuitive images are part of various collections.
